Winning clients is a part-time job done between delivery days. These 32 skills follow it in order: keep the pipeline full, go back to past clients and referrers, work your warm network, sharpen your positioning and your proof, then qualify, run discovery and write the proposal.
01What these skills are
This is Claude for the part of the job nobody schedules: finding the next client while you are busy delivering for this one. Not a lead-generation machine — the research, the preparation and the first drafts behind the conversations you have yourself, in the order they actually happen.
The skills follow the work in eight steps, warm before cold at every one, and each step hands a named artifact to the next. New accounts open only on a real public trigger.
The red line: Claude researches, prepares and drafts from your real work and real clients. You choose who to talk to, put it in your own words and send it yourself. Nothing is invented, automated or sent for you.
Every fact about a person or an organisation comes from a public source, linked, or from your own records. Every number is yours. And nothing here grades, ranks or scores people.
Legal, contract, tax, referral fee and data protection points come back marked “check with a qualified adviser”, never as advice. Where a method is a named one, such as MEDDICC or LAER, the skill says so.
Each skill is one artifact or one named method, with a fixed output template and the next skill to run. Where a skill fits a Claude surface, such as a Project or a spreadsheet, it says so.
The 32 are grouped into the eight steps, and each one gives full value on its own.
One zip: ready-to-install skill zips, readable SKILL.md files, and the sources behind every method. Free, no signup. The same 32 skills live in our open repo, if you would rather read them before you install them.

02The catalog
The set follows winning work, in eight steps: keeping the pipeline full while you deliver, past clients and referrals, your network and warm introductions, positioning and offer, proof as case studies and credentials, new accounts on a real trigger, qualification and discovery — then proposals, price and the yes.
03How to use it
Start with the Business Development Plan and the Writing Voice Guide. After that, bring the thing that is in front of you. Each skill names the next one to run.
You are busy delivering and the selling has no slot.
A past client just changed jobs, or you have lost touch.
You want to write to people you know, with a reason that is not a pitch.
A contact needs a line they can repeat, and a client asks whether you use AI.
Before anything goes in front of a prospect.
Only on a real public trigger.
A discovery call on Thursday, or a request for proposal in the inbox.

07FAQ
32 Claude skills that follow winning work in eight steps, warm before cold: the pipeline, past clients and referrals, your network, positioning, proof, new accounts, discovery, and the proposal. Each skill is one artifact or one named method.
In Claude Code, two lines install all 32 at once. In Claude.ai or Claude Desktop, download the zip, open Settings, Skills, Add, and upload the skills you want. Either way it takes about five minutes.
No. The skills work in Claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Claude Code. In the app you upload them yourself; in Claude Code one command installs the whole pack.
They are built as Claude Skills, and installing them is a Claude feature. Each one is a plain Markdown file, so you can read it and reuse the method elsewhere, but it will not load and trigger by itself outside Claude.
No. Claude researches, prepares and drafts from your real work and real clients. You choose who to talk to, put it in your own words and send it yourself. Nothing is invented, automated or sent for you.
Yes. It is free to use inside your company and in client work, and not for resale. There is no signup: the download and the install command are on this page.
08Who made this
These skills were written by Polar Bear, a people ops consultancy that runs its own company on Claude. The pack is free, and the same skills are open on GitHub.
Lantern is Polar Bear's content workspace. It turns your notes, documents and call transcripts into drafts for LinkedIn and other networks. You review them and publish the ones you like.
